Consignments & Acquisitions Form

Use this form if you have a professional-level instrument (approx $15,000+), a professional-level bow ($2,500+) or an antique instrument where the approximate value is unknown. If you're looking to sell a beginner to advanced-level instrument, please refer to our trade-in and consignment terms and conditions.

As mentioned above, if your instrument or bow meets our criteria, the next step is to have an in-store assessment. For this we charge a non-refundable consignment assessment fee of $150. This is an admin and handling fee that includes professional photographs of your instrument or bow, a pricing estimate and a full condition report conducted by one of our luthiers.

Please note that due to the high volume of submissions we receive, it may take up to two weeks before we are able to respond to your enquiry.

Please tell us as much as you know about the instrument or bow you are wanting to sell. I.e how it was acquired, what is written on the label inside, whether you've had any past appraisals or valuations completed etc.*

For instruments, please upload images of the front, back, side of the scroll and label (inside the instrument). For bows, please upload images of the frog and the tip. Pictures of past appraisals and/or certificates of authenticity would also be very useful.*
