Exceptional SME or Exceptional Founder Award Entry Form

The Exceptional SME or Exceptional Founder will recognise excellence in performance in the offshore energy sector (oil and gas, CCUS, Hydrogen and all forms of renewables) by a small or medium sized company (SME*) or founder of an SME.

The entry form can be completed either:

· By a 3rd party on behalf of the company / organisation

· The organisation or individual itself

The judges are seeking evidence of an SME or Founder which has made an impact on their customer’s business or the wider industry which is disproportion to its size – including exceptional service, product innovation or commercial innovation. Clear evidence should also be provided regarding the circumstances and impact of their efforts. Judges are particularly interested to see how the company aims to replicate their exceptional impact in future.

*The Offshore Achievement Awards uses the EU definition of Small and Medium Enterprises as criteria, therefore entrants in this category must:

a) Have fewer than 250 employees, and;

b) Have annual turnover not exceeding €50million or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding €43million, and;

c) Be independent – no more than 25% of the capital or voting rights can be owned by one of more enterprises which fall outside the SME definition.
