NOTE Risk Assessments for DJ's, Bands, musicians etc (known as entertainers) include a number of high risks to include falls and trip hazzards over cables and equipment. Spills on the dancefloor and cuts relating to broken glass.
Injuries due to items falling from height, ie speakers, staging, lighting etc
As the entertainers are responsible for their equipment and any equipment in their use and I'm sure you will understand for safety reasons they are not permitted to drink prior to or during their performance and all entertainers must hold valid insurance.
It is also the entertainers responsiblity to ask guests do not hold any glasswear whilst on the dancefloor this will help prevent breakages, spills and falls.
Again for safety reasons guests under the influence are not permitted to perform or control any equipment and will be asked to stop. If you would like your guest(s) to be apart of the entertainment please ensure they understand the terms as we don't wish to stop your enjoyment.
Live Music - Played outside must end by 2030 hours, played inside the marquee must end 2259 hours. Up to 3 sets played up to 40 minutes or 2 sets played up to 60 minutes allowed
IMPORTANT - Please Read
To comply with our Entertainment License, the venue has it's own advanced audio system with a noise limiter with a range up to 96 decibels.
Our inteligent noise system does not cut off your music but supresses the levels to an average 96 decibels. Sound testing is recommended as forcing your volume above the set levels will have the reverse effect.
Therefore it is imperative that your Entertainment choice must play / operate below this level and reduce the bass levels played as necessary to avoid being a Nuisance to neighbours.
The entertainer must bring their own Audio Mixer suitable for the number of Instruments / Microphones of the performers, or DJ mixer. The mixer must be connected to our two input XLR 'Stage Box' wired to the inhouse system. (Electronic drum kits are preferred to help with Volume levels). It is your / their responsibility to ensure music is played within the limits that have been agreed with the Local Council set out in the license, failure to do so could result in the music system being disconnected.
On arrival please speak to the venue team about setting up and how to use the venue equipment. If you have any concerns please contact the venue 01938 578258.
