ALTAR SERVERS REGISTRATION

Please review the requirements below before submitting your application
ALTAR SERVERS REGISTRANTS REQUIREMENTS:
- An altar server should be a disciple of Christ willing to serve the Liturgy with passion & respect.
- An altar server should be a parishioner of our Lady of the Cedars Church.
- An altar server should have received his/her Holy First Communion prior to registering.
- An altar server should attend the Divine Liturgy (Mass) regularly.
- An altar server should be ready to understand, memorize and learn more about the Liturgy.
- An altar server should be committed to the schedule organized by the leaders.
ALTAR SERVER DRESS CODE:
- Dark color tops for boys and girls.
- Black pants with black dress shoes for boys
- Dark leggings with closed-toe shoes for girls.
- No sandals, no glittery or flashy shoes, no tennis shoes, or open-toe shoes are allowed.
- Hair should always be groomed and short for boys. Girls must pull their hair to the back or have it in a ponytail.
ALTAR SERVER TRAINING:
- New altar servers need to do the training before they can serve.
- Parents will receive the training information, and serving schedules through parish@olchouston.org and WhatsApp group.
