Hello! Hola! Xin chào! Thank you for stopping by and showing interest in my art! My name is the Elle in Chanterelle and my pronouns are she/her, nice to meet you! I am currently an apprentice under Linh (@gremlinh.tats) at Homeroomtattoo at 7034 Santa Teresa Blvd, San Jose CA 95139.

I love dark, sketchy work; original characters, fantasy, gothic, anatomy, and traditional art, horror, among other things. Most of my work so far is black and grey but I love adding red accents as well and would love to do more colors in the future. My inspirations are Kim Jung GI, Katsuya Terada, Takato Yamamoto, Katsuhiro Otomo, J.C Leyendecker, etc. as well as many contemporary tattoo artists, whom I look up to greatly.

• I will only tattoo people who are 18+.
• Pricing: As a beginner tattoo artist, my designs are flat priced and not charged hourly. Prices are either posted along with my flash sheets or disclosed privately.
• Deposit: Flash appointment deposit is $50, or $80 if it's a larger custom design. Please be ready to send your deposit immediately to secure your appointment date and time. Deposits go towards the price of the tattoo and are non refundable. 
• Payment Options: you can Zelle me at chanterelle.tt@gmail.com, Venmo at @Elle-Ph, and cash, or a combination of them, on the day-of for the final tattoo price.
• Appointment: After I review your submission and message you (through your preferred method of contact) of an open slot time and date (depending on our availability) THE SOONER YOU MESSAGE ME BACK the sooner I can give you that specific appointment time.
• Cancellations/Reschedule: You can reschedule an appointment up until 48 hours before your appointment. The deposit is non refundable but can still be used towards a tattoo if the appointment is rescheduled more than 48 hours in advance. If under 48 hours or you completely cancel the appointment, the deposit is forfeited and you must place a new one to make another appointment.

• Flash is repeatable with adjustments to designs to make them different.
• Customs OPEN. Limited to black, grey, and red and under 6 inches at the moment.
• GUYS I would be on the moon if you sent me healed photos! Preferably, have someone else take it for you straight on and in natural lighting. It can be emailed to chanterelle.tt@gmail.com, or send it to my discord @chanter_elle, or IG message.

• DO come well fed, hydrated, showered, sober, with deodorant and brushed teeth. Avoid substance use (such as alcohol) for 24-48 hours prior and after if possible to avoid being hungover/having thin blood/having healing affected.
• DO NOT come to your session after a hike, exercising, sweating, or smelly, without having showered please. 
• DO exfoliate the skin where the tattoo will be going 1-2 days prior to your appointment (do not do the day of), as well as moisturize leading up to your appointment to avoid the skin being dry and dehydrated (drink water!).
• DO bring headphones if you’d like to listen to your own audio! It's ok if you don't want to talk, I would not be offended. Please let me know if anything bothers you before/during our appointment, I will do everything in my best ability to accommodate you! 
• DO wear loose, comfortable, dark clothing (ink will stain clothes). Consider where the tattoo is going: do not wear tight pants if you are getting a thigh piece/bring shorts. Suitable body covers are provided if necessary/requested!
• There is a microwave in the building to reheat hot food if you do bring any!
• Again, eat and drink adequate amounts before the appointment! Fainting (sometimes even during the stencil placement when standing for a prolonged period) is not fun!

• LET ME KNOW VIA DM/EMAIL IF YOU HAVE ANY ALLERGIES BEFOREHAND!!
• We currently use Dynamic Black and Triple Black Ink, vegan Hustle Butter for lubrication during and after-care (optional). We also have water and snacks for low blood sugar and nerves. 
• Nipple pasties, privacy dividers, curtains, and blankets, etc. are available upon request and/or if the tattoo placement requires it.
• Music / sounds can be adjusted if needed.
  People are welcome to bring their own headphones, music, books, movie, comfort and stimming objects which can be used so long as they do not move or shake the body in a way that would interfere with the process of tattooing.
  There is also no pressure to talk during your tattoo, please just let me know if you prefer to not be conversational.
• I do not smoke. I can wear a mask during the appointment if you are more comfortable with that.
• A step-stool is available to reach the massage bed.
• Massage bed supports up to 450 pounds.
• The studio is wheelchair/mobility accessible, as well as the bathroom. There are no stairs.

2. Design and Placement: I acknowledge that the final appearance of the tattoo may vary from the initial design due to factors such as skin texture, coloring, and placement. I have provided accurate and clear details for the tattoo design and placement on this form.

3. Age Requirements: I certify that I am at least 18 years old and meet the legal age requirement for getting a tattoo in California. If applicable, I am providing valid identification to confirm my age.

4. Consent: I give Homeroomtattoo and its artists permission to perform the requested tattoo on the agreed-upon date and time. I understand that the artist will use their professional judgment to ensure the best outcome for the tattoo.

5. Deposits and Cancellations: I understand that a deposit may be required to secure my appointment, and this deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation within 48 hours. I agree to adhere to the studio's cancellation policy.

6. Limitations: I acknowledge that Homeroomtattoo reserves the right to decline tattoo requests that are inappropriate, offensive, or beyond the skill level of the artist.

7. Modifications: I understand that modifications to the design, placement, or other aspects of the tattoo may incur additional charges. Any changes should be discussed and agreed upon with the artist.

8. Release of Liability: I release Homeroomtattoo and its artists from any liability related to the tattooing process, including but not limited to infection, allergic reactions, dissatisfaction with the outcome, and any other unforeseen complications.
