AUSTRALIAN RECORD APPLICATION FORM

Australian records and Establishment record times will only be accepted when times are recorded by Automatic Officiating Equipment, or Semi-Automatic Officiating Equipment in case of Automatic Officiating Equipment system malfunction. Results recorded using manual timing will not be accepted. (SW 12.1.9A). Australian record applications must be submitted within 14 days of the completion of the race. Applications sent outside this time frame may be declined.

Record Applications are processed in order of receipt. If you have broken the same record twice at the same meet, once in Heats and once in Finals, please submit the HEATS time first and the FINALS time second.

If we process the FINALS time first, we may not realised the HEATS time is a genuine record and you may miss out on your certificate.

Proof of Times attachments must clearly show the following:
- Swimmers name
- When and where the time was achieved
- Distance and stroke
- Course
- The time
- Approval status (green tick on swim central)
Incomplete uploads may result in your application being denied.

If your time is from an Australian meet that has not been loaded in Swim Central and marked as Approved and Verified, showing the green tick, your submission will not be accepted.
Screenshot or Photo of Race Results - MEET MOBILE NOT ACCEPTED!

Meet Mobile screenshots are not accepted and your application will be rejected. You may submit a copy of official results printed during the meet, or take a screenshot from Swim Central after results have been loaded and approved. The Proof of Times must show that you achieved this time at a verified/approved meet. Please do not send a Hytek database, Meet Manager file or a state record application form - none of these will be accepted.
