Termination:
For a member to terminate cluster membership, written notice is required 30 days before the end of the year of the current membership. Otherwise, it will be assumed that membership will be renewed for another year.
The DAC Executive Committee reserves the right to terminate a membership, at their discretion, including, but not limited to the following scenarios
- Membership fees not being paid within 60 days of invoicing.
- Illegal and/or anti-competitive behaviour as outlined in South African legislation and competition law.
- Divisive or destructive behaviour with cluster members, cluster facilitators, industry and/or third-party service providers to the DAC.
Notwithstanding termination, all membership fees will remain due.
Fee escalations: Membership fees escalate annually. Increases are linked to inflation and are determined by the DAC Executive Committee. Fees are invoiced and are payable in advance prior to participation in Cluster activities.
