- Requests for FST assistance must be sent 45 days before the course start date.
- For new book requests, please identify which book(s) you want, the publisher, the quantity, and where you want them delivered. To reduce costs and maximize the number of courses we can deliver, please consider reusing the current version of textbooks you may have.
- If you are requesting out-of-department instructors for the course, indicate how many instructors you need.
- For FST training equipment or props, upon receipt of the course request, FST will send you an asset tracking form with the equipment’s inventory, VIN number, and license plate number. At the end of the course, you’ll need to complete an inventory of the equipment and sign the form stating that all equipment is accounted for and returned.
- A course syllabus and class schedule MUST be submitted with each course request. The class schedule should include when and how often you meet, the number of hours per session, and the instructor for each session.
- The minimum class size is 10 students unless a smaller class size is approved in advance by FST. The use of instructors outside of the local area must be approved in advance by FST when requesting FST funding.
