The Summit, October 14-15, is the perfect way to prepare for competitive season! There are two days of educational opportunities for head coaches and assistant coaches of all levels.

- Special session Saturday - an in depth information session regarding the manual and scoresheets
- Keynote Speaker on Sunday - Motivational speaker Ryan Sounders
- Sunday highlights a full day of sessions geared to all experience levels. Sessions include stunting, tumbling, choreography, tips from top judges, how to improve your jumps, conditioning, cleaning rounds, and so many more topics that will make this your best competitive season. There will be an expanded offering to the middle school coaches.
- Network with coaches from all over the state.
- MHSAA Competitive Cheer Rules Meeting - led by Kathy Westdorp, MHSAA Assistant Director and the MHSAA Representative for Competitive Cheer. It will include MHSAA Rules & Competitive Cheer Rules. Attending this session completes your Rules Meeting Requirement so that you do not need to complete it online.
If you would like to officially register to attend the CAP Training from 9:00AM-4:00PM at the MHSAA building in East Lansing (cost is $60 payable to MHSAA at training) click "yes". If you would like to attend the MHSAA Competitive Cheer Rules Meeting on Saturday night, please select “Yes”. CAP training is limited to the first 50 coaches who sign up. After this your name will be on a waiting list. You will only be contacted if you are on the waiting list. If you are not contacted, then you are registered. If you are unable to attend CAP training after registering, please let us know so those on the waiting list can attend.
