PLEASE READ THE BELOW AS IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!
Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a dog from Whispering Pines Farm Miniature Dachshunds. I reserve the right to refuse any placement at any time if I feel the dog and your family are not a good fit.
APPROVAL AND DEPOSIT: I will review applications as soon as possible. Please contact me if you haven't heard from me within 2-3 days at amywpfarm@gmail.com or 865-335-8573. Applications are processed in the order they are received. If your home is a good fit, or I have questions, I'll notify you by email. If I require a deposit, I will discuss that with you. Usually it is a $200 deposit and must be placed within 24 hours of the approval e-mail. Deposits can be placed through Paypal using my email amywpfarm@gmail.com, or Venmo using @AmyWPFarmMiniDoxies.
GOING HOME: We cannot hold dogs for extended times (I do make a few exceptions when necessary - boarding fee of $30 per day applies).
CONTRACT: We do have our contract posted on our website. We will not release a dog to leave without a signed contract. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to picking up the dog.
SPAY/NEUTER: We require spay/neuter at or before 12 months. When your dog has the surgery, please send me a picture or screenshot of the vet record/receipt so that I can complete your dogs file. Additionally Any dog from our home always has a home here, and will never experience the fear and burden of life at a shelter. Because we take cradle-to-grave "original home" responsibility for the puppies we created, dogs must be spayed/neutered unless otherwise agreed apon.
REGISTRATION PAPERS: Our dogs come with AKC and or CKC limited registration papers. Full rights may be given to approved breeders for a $500 additional fee. I do not advocate folks who "would like to have just one litter" for whatever reason. While that may seem "fun" to do, there are a lot of risks to the dam and puppies. There are also a lot of expenses that can happen that people don't realize. It is best to leave breeding up to the professionals that have the knowledge and experience required to produce healthy happy puppies.
If you have questions regarding any of these terms, please contact me to discuss.
