First United Methodist Church is a wheelchair-accessible location. Accessing the Social Hall (Lower Level) requires climbing stairs or utilizing an elevator. Gender-neutral restrooms are adjacent to Social Hall. An large, gender-neutral single stall ADA-compliant restroom is also available on the main floor (Upper Level) across the hall from the sanctuary.
To make a safe environment for attendees with chemical sensitivities, please refrain from wearing perfume, cologne or fragrance. (This includes natural / essential oils.)
Palmer Park, the outdoor location for Rosh Hashanah Day 2's afternoon activities, features a paved walking path, on-site parking and no restrooms.
COVID Protocols:
To practice our shared value of community care:
- All in-person attendees must receive a negative COVID test (rapid or PCR) within 24hrs of the start of the service and be symptom free*
- Discuss your eligibility for a vaccine booster with your health care team and get up to date if needed.
- Wear a mask for indoor services unless doing so would create a substantial barrier for your participation. We trust that everyone will make thoughtful choices rooted in a common concern for the collective.
*symptoms include: cough, fever, sore throat, nausea or vomiting, difficulty breathing
***Safety protocols are subject to change depending on current state of affairs at the time of each service.***
