We are glad that you chose to have your child be a part of us, not only are we a dance team but a family. So let me be the first to say “Welcome!"

Tuition Dates

Dues are due on the 5th of every Month no later than the 8th

$25 Late Fee for late tuition

Tuition will increase to $175.00 for new members.
In order to lock in your $150.00 tuition for current members , your tuition must be paid in full by the 5th of the month. (No Exceptions) If not you will automatically default to the $175.00 plus late fee if paid after the 8th of the month.

All tuition fees must be paid through Dance-Pro unless approved by a director for cash-app.

Costume/Uniform

Customs are rentals and property of City Streets. Most costumes are custom made, tailored, cleaned and maintained by City Streets. We clean all costumes after performances and repair as needed. The costume rental fee is $275.00 per season. However we will be ordering costumes this year from a vendor for upcoming competitions.

Uniforms are kept by the dancer, it comes with a crop top, leggings, shorts, Jacket, sports bra and a City Streets Duffle Bag priced at $135.00.

Monday and Wednesday 5:45pm – 7:00 pm 1 Hr 15 min per class

Mini Elite & Jr. Elite /Intermediate

Monday and Wednesday 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm 1 Hr 15 min per class

Jr. Elite / Senior & Senior Elite

Monday and Wednesday 8:00 pm – 9:15 pm 1 Hr 15 min per class

Saturday – 10am to 2pm – 4 Hours

Specialty Classes

Starting in September – Every other Thursday there will be a Turns, Kicks and Leap class

First Thursday in every month – Stand Battle Class

Ages 5 – 11 5:45pm to 7pm

Ages 11-17 7pm to 8:15 pm

Practice days and times are scheduled to change depending on upcoming competitions and performances.

Excessive absences, no payment, and continuous late payments will cause your child to be removed from the program!

We also hold parent meetings at least every quarter or as needed.

Competition Team Commitment Agreement
I (Student) and (parent or legal guardian) Understand this is a competition team and with it comes added obligations, responsibilities, polices, conditions, and fees for all City Streets Dance Studio Team.

1. I and parent or legal guardian commit to the team and will show a positive attitude toward all members on City Streets Dance Studio Team.

2. I and parent or legal guardian understand that if I miss the last 2 rehearsals before a competition or last practice before a performance I will not be able to compete or perform at that following event and will not be refunded for the event.

3. I and parent or legal guardian understand if I choose to miss a competition for any reason other than a death in the family or serious medical reasons leading me not to compete, I will automatically forfeit my position on City Streets Dance Studio Team and will be held to: Policy #5 and #6

4. I and parent or legal guardian understand that if I miss the required practice time before a competition or performance I will still be required to attend my event with a positive attitude towards City Streets Dance Studio, LLC team. (Same attitude goes for my City Streets Dance Studio Team team members performing)
5. I and parent or legal guardian understand that by signing this form I am committed to the team for the entire dance season which ends Date* . If I quit or am asked to leave due to excessive absences or bad behavior, I am obligated to pay the $150.00 quit fee (QF) within 30 days of my quit date and will not be allowed to audition for City Streets Dance Studio Team in the following years. This fee does not apply if you move out of town or cannot continue the year regarding medical reasons. Even if you quit a week after tryouts you still HAVE to pay the quit fee because you took the place of another dancer that did not make the team.
6. I and parent or legal guardian understand that at any point in the year you will NOT receive a refund on tuition or costumes and competition fees if you quit the team for any reason.

7. I and parent or legal guardian understand I will be required to attend camp 2 weeks in June and 2 weeks in July, which will be interchangeable for normal practice times for the summer months.

8. I and parent or legal guardian understand that if I come unprepared for class I will have to make it “up” under instructors choice, example: missed choreography, cleaning, or formations. This might require extra fees for outside instruction for your instructor’s time and studio space.

9. I parent or legal guardian understand that I must have a valid excuse to miss class and will notify the instructor at least 1 hour before rehearsal. Example: family weddings, funerals, and school graded activities. If you are too sick to dance you should be home resting. I also understand that if I miss extreme amounts of class I will be asked not to be on City Streets Dance Studio Team and will still be required to pay the $150 (QF): Policy #5

10. I and parent or legal guardian understand that I must be prepared for all performances and competitions (hair, make-up, earrings, costume etc.) or I will not be allowed to perform or compete unless my teammates unanimously agree to having me perform. I will also be required to replace any lost performance items at my own expense.

11. I will agree to not use my cell phone at any time while class is in session.

12. I understand that all choreography and cut music from City Streets Dance Studio Team is City Streets Dance Studio Team property and may only be used at events where City Streets Dance Studio Team is not performing. All other events, you must seek permission. I do encourage you to perform routines at talent shows or church events, please make sure to wear City Streets Dance Studio Team gear or announce our studio.

13. Never will I teach choreography or routines learned at City Streets Dance Studio Team to any other studio or dance class. I understand that if I want to become a better dancer in the time we are here at the studio I must dedicate myself and WORK HARD!! YOU WILL BE REWARDED FOR YOUR EFFORTS. I will proudly represent me, my team, and my community. I hereby consent to have my child or children participate in the programs offered by City Streets Dance Studio Team.

14. I agree all fees must be current and paid to participate in any extra activities including filming, production, performances and competition
I agree to the above obligations, responsibilities, policies, conditions, and fees for the Type a label* Summer/Fall dance season. I will not hold City Streets Dance Studio Team liable for any injuries that may happen on the property of City Streets Dance Studio Team.

I understand that all classes require a leotard be worn by female dancers. NO bare midriffs. Shorrts and black leggings are permitted. All dancers must be in black.

I Consent/Release I hereby waive and release, City Streets Dance Studio, LLC its officers, agents, volunteers, and employees from all acts or omissions resulting in any physical injuries, medical treatment, or other damages to myself or any minors of whom I am parent or legal guardian, resulting from participation in City Streets Dance Studio, LLC programs. I further waive and release City Streets Dance Studio, LLC and its officers, agents, volunteers, and employees from any damages sustained by the aforementioned or any guests of the aforementioned as a result of any condition, act, omission, or accident on or at 2562 Fairburn Road, Suite B20 Douglasville, GA 30135, or any other premises upon which any activity related to City Streets Dance Studio, LLC takes place.

Policies and Guidelines
Fees and Withdrawal

• Payments are due by the 1st of the month. This policy remains the same on holidays. Payments not received by the 10th of the month are automatically charged a $25.00 late fee. A secured payment box is located inside the studio foyer. You can also mail your payments or pay online. Payments are accepted through square, invoiced, cash or cashapp if needed

• A $25.00 service fee, in addition to any applicable late fees, is assessed with any returned check which is not paid by the bank on which it is drawn, for reasons such as non-sufficient funds, refer to maker, missing signature, etc.

• The registration fee, class fees, recital fees, and costume fees are non-refundable.
• Should a student need to withdraw from any or all classes at any time during the SEASON Type a label session, written notice must be given 2 weeks in advance. Without written notice, the student is still considered active and charges are still incurred.
• Accounts must be kept in good standing for a dancer to continue participating in weekly classes, receive costumes, and participate in the Recital.

• Students with an outstanding balance over 30 days are not allowed to participate in weekly classes until the balance is paid in full.

• All outstanding payments over 60 days are handled by a collection agency and / or lawyer.

Drop-off and Pick-up

• Students should arrive for their class in proper attire no earlier than 10 minutes prior to class time and be picked up no later than 10 minutes after the class is over. City Streets Dance Studio, LLC is not responsible for students before and after class time. Students not picked up within 10 minutes of their class dismissal will be charged a $15.00 fee.

• Please respect classes that are in session by not arriving more than 5 minutes before your child’s class is dismissed.

• For your child’s safety, please come inside the studio to drop-off and pick-up all students. Students are not to leave the studio without a parent or guardian.

• When your child’s class is dismissed, the studio doors will be opened. Please do not enter the studio early unless you have made early departure arrangements with the instructor.

Bad Weather / Holidays - The studio will not necessarily close for snow days, regardless if area schools are closed, since many times roads are clear and safe by 3:00 p.m. If in doubt call the studio after 12 noon on the given day for a recorded message. If classes are canceled we will post it on all social media platforms.

Attendance - Good attendance is imperative, as absences and tardiness can hold back an entire class. Students should be prompt and prepared for class.

Practice Wear - Dance Wear is required for all classes. Students must wear comfortable form fitting dance attire to display proper body alignment and allow for easy movement. No baggy t-shirts, baggy shorts, blue jeans, no jewelry or other inappropriate attire will be allowed. Hair should always be securely pulled away from the face.

*Street Ballet - Leotard, tights and ballet shoes, skirts, wraps, shorts over tights or tutus are allowed but we must always be able to see the knees and ankles - NO DANCE PANTS PLEASE!

*Concrete Jungle (Jazz and Modern Mixed) - Form-fitting, comfortable attire and turners/lyrical shoes.

*Hip Hop/ Majorette - Tennis shoes and comfortable clothing.

Studio Rules
*No student should be in the studio unless enrolled in that particular class.
*Students should be dressed and prepared for class before it starts.
*No street shoes should be worn in the studios. Please change into dance shoes before class.
*No food or drinks of any kind are allowed in the dance studios.
*Parents should not leave young students unattended in the waiting area before or after class. *Chewing gum is never allowed in the dance studios.
*Always treat your teacher and fellow classmates with respect. ABSOLUTELY NO BULLYING ALLOWED.

Elite Team

Elite dancers have to placed by the dance coaches. Elite dance member, may be apart of an outside team, but have the necessary skills to maintain their status as an elite dancer, while doing as such. Elite dancers must be able to catch on the chero and execute it thoroughly. Elite dancers rise above others with the quality of their skills and gracefulness on the floor. There are also some traits that establish dancers as elite by exhibiting their manners, technique and consideration for their fellow students and their instructors.
