MiSalud Health is seeking bilingual (Spanish and English) Community Health Workers (Promotora/es de Salud) for upcoming health enrollment events.

This is a "gig" role - meaning it will be hourly paid and event based. There is the opportunity to become a local MiSalud representative in your location for a few hours of event-based work per month.

MiSalud Health provides affordable, culturally attuned virtual care tailored to the needs of the underserved US Hispanic population with patients spanning across California, Texas, Arizona and Florida.
Job description
As a Community Health Worker partnering with MiSalud, you will attend our enrollment events hosted at various companies. During these events, you would help build trust with our patients to educate them on MiSalud's services and enroll them in utilizing the MiSalud application on their mobile phones. You would work with our team to safely and easily get patients the care they need and deserve.
MiSalud will provide you with all the necessary training via Zoom before the events. Training hours are paid.
There will also be opportunity for an ongoing partnership with MiSalud to help support our patients locally.
Requirements
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Moderately tech savvy (can utilize mobile phones to install and utilize mobile apps)
- A proactive attitude to engage shy or unengaged patients
- Be on your feet all day during these enrollment events
- Must be located in one of the counties MiSalud is working in (seen under Locations on application form)
Pay
$20/hr
