DRDA Beginner/Intermediate School Holiday Program Registration Form January 2026

Catering for beginners intermediate aged 6 to 13 years old. We cover horse care - including, feeding, grooming, bathing, horse knowledge, games, pretty pony, mucking and one riding session during the day. Drop off no earlier than 8.30am - Pick up no later than 3:15. The cost is $95 for the day. Riders can attend one or all days. We can only take 8 riders per day at time there may be an issue where the form doesn't register it has eight on each day in the event this happens it will be done on who signs up first.

Terms and Conditions:
- Dunedin RDA, their staff and volunteers will not be responsible for any loss, accident or injury to any person or property while present on RDA grounds or while using RDA horses
- I understand that horse-riding and related activities carry inherent risks and that Dunedin RDA has a duty to take reasonable care to prevent injury, accidents can still happen. I agree that Dunedin RDA will not be liable for any accident that could not have been prevented by the reasonable care of its coaches.
- In the event of an emergency, I understand that as soon as reasonably possible Dunedin RDA will endeavour to contact the emergency contact using the details provided on this registration form.
- I understand coach on site have a current first aid certificate and authorise the administration of first aid to my child if deemed necessary by the responsible coach
- In the event of an emergency or accident I consent to the program staff taking whatever steps are necessary, including giving first aid and if required calling an ambulance to ensure the safety and well-being of my child/ren.
- Dunedin RDA reserves the right to discontinue the course for any child who does not adhere to the rules and is seen to be a risk to other riders, volunteers or our horses. No refund will be given should this situation arise.
- I consent to meeting any associated costs for emergency treatment

Administration of Sunscreen

I understand that the RDA provides UVA and UVB sunscreen for children with an SPF of 15 or above and I give them permission to apply this to my child as needed.

OR

I will provide my own sunscreen for my child. It will be in its original container labelled with my child’s name on it. I also understand that it should have the minimum requirements as listed above for full sun protection. This sunscreen will be given to the teachers and not left where my child can self-administer.

Once your payment and registration has been submitted you will be officially enrolled. Please remember there are no refunds UNLESS the programme is cancelled by Dunedin RDA. There is a minimum number of riders required for each day, if we do not meet this your rider may be asked to move to another day and or given a refund.
