The Traveling Fellowship Committee is now accepting applications for the 2027 POSNA Traveling Fellowship Program. The three selected traveling fellows will visit countries in Asia in April and culminate the 2-week trip by attending the APPOS Annual Meeting in Kyoto, Japan on April 16-18, 2027.
This is an exceptional opportunity to share academics, life experiences and build relationships with colleagues in Asia.
Eligibility
Applicants must fall under the category of Active member in POSNA. Unfortunately, affiliate members are not eligible.
Members must have 15 years or fewer in practice at the time of application.
There is no longer an age cut-off.

d. *Two Letters of Recommendation
*Ask two (2) colleagues to send letters of recommendation to POSNA. One should be from an orthopaedic surgeon who you worked with during your residency or fellowship, and the other should be a senior pediatric orthopaedic surgeon who is familiar with your current practice.
They may give you the letters to upload with the application or they may email to Traci Russell, Grants and Programs Specialist, at russell@posna.org.
The application form, letters of recommendation, cover letter, headshot, and CV MUST BE COMPLETED AND RECEIVED BY October 16, 2026. Incomplete applications or those received after this date will not be considered.
