In Ontario, 25% of First Nations communities are affected by a drinking water advisory. These shirts have been created for National Day for Truth & Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day), which takes place on September 30, 2025.
As part of our commitment to truth and reconciliation, the BFO Board opted to create a t-shirt fundraiser with the goal to raise $3,000. The proceeds from the sale of each shirt will be donated to Water First.
Water First is an organization that works to help address water challenges in Indigenous communities in Canada through education, training and meaningful collaboration. Learn more about Water First HERE.
Please note: Shirts are $20 (adult) and $15 (youth) with no additional shipping charge if picked up at the BFO office or other arranged location (i.e. Outdoor Farm Show). To ensure we can provide the full donation amount to Water First, there is an additional charge to ship the shirts directly to your home or business as noted below.
