About Us:
The Junior Writers Club aims to empower young talents by offering them the opportunity to contribute to our Stroll magazine. Similar to a scout troop, our team gathers a couple times per year to brainstorm, assign articles, and collaborate on crafting compelling stories. By becoming a Junior Writer, they’ll not only hone their writing skills but also form lasting connections and build a strong portfolio.
The Details:
- Meetings are held about two times per year. Meeting days and times rotate to accommodate various schedules. Meetings are not mandatory but fun will be guaranteed!
- Locations vary, providing volunteer activities, product reviews, or unique experiences at local businesses.
Perks:
- Each Junior Writer receives a Stroll notebook to fuel creativity.
- Enjoy a custom "press pass" for meetings and event coverage.
- Be part of a collaborative and supportive writing community.
- Receive $5 per article as compensation for published work. (4th article for the year $10, 5th article $15)
