AGREEMENT, WAIVER AND RELEASE: I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for damage for personal injury, illness, or property damage which I may have, or which may hereafter accrue to me, as a result of my, or the identified competitor’s, participation in the Summer Splash Competition.
I assume all risks, known and unknown, foreseeable and unforeseeable, in any way connected with my participation in the Summer Splash event. I accept personal responsibility for any liability, injury, loss, or damage in any way connected with my participation.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the event venue, event staff, NBTA and directors, officers, employees, agents, and volunteers, from all claims, and the cost of defending any Claim I might make, or that might be made on my behalf, that is in any way connected with or arising out of my participation.
Participation, and attendance, includes possible exposure to, and illness from, infectious diseases including but not limited to influenza and COVID-19. While preventative measures and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness does exist. I acknowledge, voluntarily accept, and assume all risks related to an injury or illness related to these or other infectious diseases as a result of my participation.
