Service projects include service programs in the local schools, reading programs for kids, supporting food pantries, a new children’s park in town and much more! In fact, we invite you to bring an idea for a new service program to the Kiwanis club and invite the club to participate. Plus, you can even be the chairperson for the new service program in town! Where is my money going?
DUES BREAKDOWN (Oct 1st, 2024 - Sept 30th, 2025)

Kiwanis International dues - $77.00 per year

Magazine - $ 8.00 per year

Insurance - $22.00 per year ($18 General Liability & $4 Dir & Officers Liability)

Total Due to Kiwanis International = $82.00 per year

Texas/Oklahoma District dues - $40.00 per year

GRAND TOTAL = $147.00 per year (per Kiwanis member)

(Dues are prorated each month.)

So why do you pay more? So we have funds to use towards what you are joining for; THE KIDS!
- Membership dues make it possible for Valley View Kiwanis to do the following:
  - Receive the required documentation needed for the programs in the schools. (K-Kids, Builders Club, Key Club, etc.)
  - Purchase promotional/marketing items to gain brand recognition at events and service projects in Valley View.
  - Create an account to have a starting balance with service projects and fundraisers.
- Your money will support the Valley View community! Funds raised are used to directly support the youth and community. Officers and directors are volunteers so your membership isn't paying a salary.
- Valley View Kiwanis members are here to answer the needs of our community while also supporting the youth in it. Your membership makes that possible.
By completing this application for membership, I agree to conform to the bylaws of this club and comply with the obligations of membership as explained to me by my sponsor. In the United States, US$8 of a member's annual dues and fees is applied to a Kiwanis magazine subscription. Additional membership dues and fees will be charged.
