PAL Karate Registration

Ninja Karate (Ages 3 to 6) - A motor skill-driven practice of traditional karate techniques to instill coordination, listening, and focus skills in our youngest students. Students advance in belt rank 3 to 4 times per year with the goal of transitioning to traditional martial arts.

Traditional Karate (Ages 7 and up) — Karate technique, forms, sparring, weapons, and breaking boards to develop a full-rounded martial artist that will work towards the goal of achieving their blackbelt and beyond. As students develop special emphasis is placed on team leaders and eventually junior assistant instructors.

Class Descriptions

Ninjas - Ages 3 and 4, and Ages 5 and 6 at separate class times
Beginners - New Students, White Belts, and Orange Belts Ages 7 & Up
Intermediate - Blue and Purple Bets, Ages 7 and Up
Advanced - Green Belts and Up, Ages 7 and Up

In consideration of the right to participate in the New Britain PAL Karate Program, I do hereby, for myself, my heirs, and executors release the New Britain Police Athletic League, the City of New Britain, the Institute of Martial Arts, and all coaches, agents, employees or personnel of said parties from any and all liability for property damage, bodily harm, or any other damages suffered while participating in said Karate Program and accordingly waive any and all right to bring suit against the New Britain Police Athletic League, the City of New Britain, the Institute of Martial Arts, and coaches, agents, employees or personnel.
