We are very excited to give your child an amazing experience! More importantly, we enjoy seeing skills and confidence develop through our program!! We build healthy relationships with our families. With this in mind, please contact us for questions, concerns, or the need to clarify anything related to our Saturday School. Communicate with us, and we can work together to create the BEST experience ever. NOTE: Disrespectful behavior towards any child or adult cannot be tolerated.
General Saturday School Workshop Info

Applications will close Wednesday, September 6th.

Workshops will be held at McFarland Community Center - 4955 Cottonwood Cv., 38118

We will meet from 2pm-4pm.

***A total of 3 late pick-ups will result in dismissal from the program. For safety; no early drop off's please.

Students should dress comfortably, and they can bring a snack and a water bottle if they would like too.

We will meet on Saturdays starting 9/9 and tentatively ending 11/18. We will not meet during Fall Break (10/14). However; an additional weekday evening rehearsal may be needed!

Thanks to generous donors, PGI only asks for a donation of $75/child for all of the sessions. All funds are due by October 16th. This covers over 20 hours of time with your child. Thank you, supporters!

Please note that payments are non-refundable, and participation depends on attendance. We expect perfect attendance unless there is an emergency. Because this is a fast-paced program, children still cannot perform if they have missed excessive practices (with or without a reason.)

Our Christmas Show has been named, "A Motown Holiday!" It is sure to be a hit. It will be held November 20th at the FedEx Event Center. The day's schedule is forthcoming.

NOTE: This is a Dinner-Theater Experience. Tickets will be valued at a dinner & a show! Please begin to secure babysitters for 11/20 if you would not like to pay for other siblings.

This year, PGI performers will also need a ticket if they will partake in dinner! (It will be discounted.)

It is important to understand that this event is also a fundraiser for 2024 summer camp! We need all the funds we can get to continue helping kids as much as possible. Thank you for your support and consistency!

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by Perfecting Gifts, Inc. during the selected camp. In exchange for the acceptance of said child’s candidacy by Perfecting Gifts, Inc. I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Perfecting Gifts along with Perfecting Love Community Church, and all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from selected camp sessions.

In case of injury to said child, I hereby waive all claims against Perfecting Gifts and Perfecting Love Community Church, including all coaches and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all youth activities, including performing arts. I also consent that during this time of Covid-19, I will hold harmless Perfecting Gifts Inc. and Perfecting Love Church, it's leaders, affiliates, and campers for any liability relating to the pandemic. I also agree to refrain from entering the premises with known contagious sickness, including but not limited to Covid-19.

Medical Release and Authorization

As Parent and/or Guardian of the named student, I hereby authorize the diagnosis and treatment by a qualified and licensed medical professional, of the minor child, in the event of a medical emergency, which in the opinion of the attending medical professional, requires immediate attention to prevent further endangerment of the minor’s life, physical disfigurement, physical impairment, or other undue pain, suffering or discomfort, if delayed.

Permission is hereby granted to the attending physician to proceed with any medical or minor surgical treatment, x-ray examination and immunizations for the named athlete. In the event of an emergency arising out of serious illness, the need for major surgery, or significant accidental injury, I understand that every attempt will be made by the attending physician to contact me in the most expeditious way possible. This authorization is granted only after a reasonable effort has been made to reach me.

Permission is also granted to Perfecting Gifts Inc and Perfecting Love, and its affiliates including Directors, Staff, and Volunteers to provide the needed emergency treatment prior to the child’s admission to the medical facility.

Release authorized on the dates and/or duration of the registered season.

This release is authorized and executed of my own free will, with the sole purpose of authorizing medical treatment under emergency circumstances, for the protection of life and limb of the named minor child, in my absence.
