The Ministry for Justice on behalf of Government will be leading an Open Government process for the development of Malta’s 4th National Action Plan on Open Government. In this regard, the Ministry is inviting Civil Society Organisations and other Non-Governmental Organisations to join a Multi-Stakeholder Forum, to engage with Government on the development of action plans on matters of national importance related to Malta’s present and future vision.
The Multistakeholder Forum (Terms of Reference accessible here) will be composed both from Government reformers and representatives from Civil Society Organisations and other Non-Governmental Organisations. The Forum will be tasked to
- provide ideas and feedback,
- identify priorities, and
- propose commitments to be developed into action plans to be included in Malta’s 4th National Action Plan.
The themes on which discussions would take place are listed in the Registration Form.
Interested Civil Society Organisations and other Non-Governmental Organisations must indicate in their application, their preferences on which themes they wish to participate in the Forum. Not more than two themes can be chosen.
Organisations must nominate one representative to sit on the Forum as well as an alternate member. Only one member from each organisation can participate in the Forum.
Civil Society Organisations and other Non-Governmental Organisations wishing to participate in the Multi-Stakeholder Forum, must be officially enrolled and compliant with the Commissioner for Voluntary Sectors by the deadline of the application.
All applications are to be submitted by not later than Friday 22nd September 2023, noon.
