• Pop-Up Therapy Group Registration

You are registering for one or more single day pop-up occupational therapy groups at Treeline Enrichment, LLC in Plant City Florida. Upon registration, you are bound to the Treeline therapy cancellation policy and any cancellation with less than 24 notice or a no-show will be assessed a $40 cancellation/no show fee that is not billable to the Family Empowerment Scholarship.
  • Join us for a pop-up therapy group to extend progress towards therapy goals in a small group setting.

The group flow will vary based on the kids that attend, but it is anticipated to include a group hike, games, skill, snack, and supported play.  The details of the group plan will be refined upon review of individual client ages, stages, interests, strengths, and goals.

This skilled occupational therapy group is facilitated by Angela Rosenburg, OTD, OTR/L and a Treeline support staff member.  A child’s parent, caregiver or trusted adult may attend with the child, but advanced notification is required.

The fee for EACH 2-hour occupational therapy group is $112.  This service will be directly billed at the end of the month (private pay or Family Empowerment Scholarship).

Priority registration is given to current Treeline occupational therapy clients.  All kids attending the therapy group are required to have a current OT evaluation by a Florida occupational therapist within the last 12 months.  If you are not a current Treeline OT client, please schedule an informational call with Treeline to ensure this group is a match for your child.

Groups will run with a minimum of 3 registered attendees and is capped at 6 attending.  Registration closes 1 week in advance of each program or when the group reaches capacity. All intake paperwork, and any additional external OT evaluations requested MUST be received no later than 1 week prior to the date of the group registered, otherwise registration will be forfeit.

  • Important Note: A Transfer Plan of Care Fee does NOT apply to single-day OT Groups. Upon initiating any other OT services, in order to fully individualize a therapy plan, a Treeline Evaluation or Transfer Plan of Care would be required.

  • Behavior Policy

Children who attend our therapy groups are receiving therapy services in a small-group setting. Our therapists use cues of safety, sensory supports, and relationship-based interventions to help children handle big emotions and interactions.

In order for all children in the group to receive therapeutic benefits, we require children in our groups to maintain expected behaviors that do not significantly detract from the experience of other children in the group. Children who attend our groups must be able to

    • Stay with the group (for safety as we are in the woods)
    • Follow directions (most of the time!)
    • Have basic safety awareness to be in wild nature settings with an adult nearby but NOT always within arm’s reach.

We operate with approximately 1 adult to every 2-3 children. We are not staffed to provide 1:1 support for children who have significant behaviors that consistently require the full attention of a staff member. If a child expresses emotions or communication in a way that impacts the therapy or safety of the therapists or other children in the group, we will discuss this with the parent to determine if a group therapy approach is at match for the child right now.

  • Therapeutic Approach

🔸Treeline Enrichment aims to be a neurodivergent affirming practice. We use identify-affirming language (i.e. autistic child) and not person-first language (child with autism) because we believe being neurodivergent is a part of their identity.  Neurodivergency is a different way of thinking, learning, and doing.

🔸Our therapists use cues of safety, sensory supports, and relationship-based interventions to support children in sessions. We are not a setting that subscribes to compliance-based ABA principles and strategies.

🔸We are a play-based setting that is motivated to work with your child's strengths and in their unique areas of interests.

🔸Treeline Enrichment values strong parent partnerships, regular communication, and therapy that is focused on very functional and meaningful objectives that the parent helps to write.  Parents are expected to be active partners in the therapy process.  Treeline is not the setting to simply drop your child off for a session once a week and that's it.  We are your partners in this journey to help your child thrive.

🔸We say yes to the mess ... every time.  At Treeline Enrichment, your child will leave therapy sessions a little (or a lot) dirty (or wet), sometimes stinky, and sometimes a little tired.  We will not ask your child to NOT play in the mud if they are interested, instead, we WILL play in the mud with them!

🔸Treeline is an all-weather setting.  Therapy sessions take place in the heat, cold, rain, wind, and sun.  We shelter under roof from thunderstorms and high winds only.  We embrace all of these weather variables as opportunities in the therapy process.

We are NOT the right setting for every child or every family.  When you select Treeline Enrichment to help your child be their best through outdoor occupational therapy, you understand the above is the Treeline therapeutic approach and you are ready for your child to grow and learn and thrive under these principles.
