Take a stand against harassment in the beatbox community. Affirm your commitment to organizing events that are safe and respectful.

Sign this pledge to stand with others around the globe committed to the safety and wellbeing of beatboxers around the globe. We will announce your organization's commitment during the pledge portion at our Beatbox Global Take Back The Night Event 2023. Additionally, this form will be shared with Beatbox Safe Space.

Beatbox Safe Space Pledge
I agree to organize only beatbox events which comply with the Beatbox Safe Space standards:
- CODE OF CONDUCT: The event has a public code of conduct, listed on their event website, detailing what is and isn’t allowed at the event. The code of conduct clearly prohibits and defines disrespectful, demeaning, degrading, and harassing behavior.
- ANNOUNCEMENT: At the start of the event, an announcement is read with a commitment to the following:
  - This event is a safe, respectful space.
  - Sexual harassment, sexual assault, and disrespectful behavior are not permitted under any circumstances.
  - If an incident of prohibited behavior occurs, attendees may go in person to ____ and report to _____. Alternately, attendees have the option to report online or through a phone hotline listed on the event website.
- REPORTING:
  - The event has at least one designated representative to whom attendees may report prohibited behavior. This person(s) is present throughout the entirety of the event.
  - The event website has a phone number and/or email address where attendees may report prohibited behavior.
