The WFF Women in Focus Mentorship provides the opportunity for up to five female filmmakers from British Columbia with projects in development to receive a complimentary Pass to the 2023 Whistler FIlm Festival and (short) mentorship from an experienced executive producer mentor to prepare for and guide their market experience to progress their careers and projects. Women with short-form episodic series in development are also eligible to apply.

Mentees will also receive the opportunity to participate in a meetup with the cohort during the Whistler Film Festival + Content Summit to converse with other filmmakers to discuss how they can further their projects. There will be a brief festival meeting for the WIF Cohort at the outset of festival.
