There are many aspects to putting on a professional quality show, and STAR Rep cannot survive without our family volunteers! It really takes a village to put on a production! It is the requirement of STAR Rep, that each family or actor over the age of 18, be required to serve for a minimum of 10 hours, or a $100 non-participation fee will be charged.
As a non-profit volunteer organization, we need the help of parents in many areas. The only skill required for any of these committees is the willingness to serve your kids. During the performance parents will be needed to help at the concessions and promotions tables. Sign ups will be taken prior to opening night.
Committee assignments will be made at the first parent/cast meeting. Should you have any strong preferences or needs, please include them in the Committee Comments at the end of this section. In addition, helps always needed in clean-up and other aspects of maintaining a theatre.
Performers that do not participate will be billed $100, and will not be allowed to do another show until the bill is paid. If you would prefer to buy out your volunteer time, you may do so at the first cast/parent meeting for the price of $100.
