There is a place in Tel Aviv, Israel, called YUNG YiDiSH, where over sixty thousand books, collected painstakingly one by one, sit on shelves and inside boxes, bearing witness to a rich world of Eastern European Yiddish culture.
Mendy Cahan, the founding director of YUNG YiDiSH, in conversation with Professor Kriszta Eszter Szendrői of the University of Vienna, will take you on a virtual whirlwind tour of some of the treasures of this library, and acquaint you with this world.
