We are an upstart artisan collective based in the Greater New Kensington area.
Several artists came together with a similar idea - an artist- and artisan-centered business that would connect our work with the public. From those first discussions, Alloy 13 Artisans (formerly Rust Belt Revival) was born.
The Vision
Our vision includes, but is not limited to, a physical location that includes gallery, retail, studio, classroom and meeting space. Our activities will support the larger arts movement in the "rust belt" as a whole, the Pittsburgh region, and in the greater New Kensington area specifically.
The method to achieve this vision is an equal-opportunity artisan collective: an LLC in which all official members have an equal vote and are equally responsible. Contributions will take different forms at different times: financial, relational, material, creative, time and effort to name a few. Not everyone will have the same ability to contribute in each area, so we will all do what we can when we can.
Right now (Late Winter 2026), our expenses are modest (rent, website hosting, printing, LLC set up, bank set up, insurance, etc) and our activity needs are growing and include business tasks, marketing/outreach, membership growth and support, event management, and physical location management. These expenses and activities will continue to change as we grow and find new opportunities.
Are you in?
At Alloy 13, we believe creativity is strongest when it’s forged together. Our collective brings artists, makers, and dreamers into one space—melding ideas, sharing resources, and building a creative community in the heart of New Kensington.
We offer three levels of membership, each designed to meet artists where they are on their creative journey.
Please choose the option that represents your realistic commitment. Everything is open to change if you decide to become more or less involved.
Alloy Foundry member: I am committed to participate as a full member-owner, including contributing as needed and as I am able to do so.
- I am willing to pay $100 per year and at least 4 hours a month to needed activities. I will contribute more on a monthly or as needed basis as the needs of the collective change.
- I understand that I will enjoy priority inclusion in activities, shared marketing, and access to all physical spaces, and will have minimal or no fees for participation in events.
- I also understand that my input and vote are critical to the health of the collective.
Alloy Arts member: I am committed to participation in the collective, but not ownership.

- I want to help, and am interested in participating in shows, renting retail space, and/or hosting paid classes.
- I understand that I will have secondary priority inclusion in activities and space, and will pay additional fees for participation on a per-use basis.
- I also understand that although I will not have a binding vote, my input is very important.
Alloy Ambassadors: I want to stay connected and participate in events or activities on an ad-hoc basis.
- I am willing to help promote the collective, invite other artists to participate, or support in whatever way I can.
- I understand that I will have lowest priority inclusion in activities and apace, and will pay full price fees for participation on a per-use basis.
- I understand that my input to the development of the collective is valuable and my ideas and suggestions are welcomed.
