Welcome to the second step of designing your book! :)

First of all, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for entrusting me with your story. It is an absolute honour to work with you.

Secondly, this form might be a bit overwhelming when you scroll through it at first. I recommend for you to take your time, and please email me if you have any questions at all.

The reason why this form is so extensive, is to decrease the amount of errors, and to make sure that I have everything at the start to make a quote and to make an amazing custom design for your book.

If you can’t fill everything in right now, that is okay. You can provide me with the rest later. Just try to fill it in as much as you can.

COVER INFORMATION & INSPIRATION

Let’s delve a bit deeper into your story, so we can make a professionally designed cover for it.
What is the book title?*
What is your author name?*
As you want it to appear on the cover
What is the tagline or subtitle?
This is not obligatory, but can give your book a unique edge and make it stand out

Example: Romance, Thriller, YA, NA, etc. (This question is a repeater, for the sake of overview :) )

If the book is part of a series: what is the name of the series?
I can add this to the cover, so that your readers can immediately get curious about your amazing books and look for the other parts.
If the book is part of a series: how many books do you expect the series to be? And if possible, could you describe each book in a few sentences?
I will use this information to make sure that the design will be able to be adapted across all the books that will still follow.
If this book is a sequel and I haven’t done the previous designs, please provide me with the URL’s of the earlier instalments.
This way I can make sure the covers match.
Synopsis of the book*
I would love to have an in depth, detailed description of your story, so I can create a cover that is a one-of-a-kind-Cinderella-fit. If you cannot provide me with a synopsis, please provide me with your blurb.
Do you have any important themes, symbols, settings objects and/or events in your book?
Little hints, allusions and symbols that connect the cover to the story are always fun for the reader to see. Please tell me yours so I might try to fit them in so we can take this cover to a whole new level. If you have none, you can simply type "no". :)
Is there anything in specific you want to portray to your reader?
This can be anything from vibes to objects to characters.
Do you have any other ideas on what you want the cover to look like?

ADDITIONAL COVER INFORMATION

Now that we got the basics for the design process out of the way, let’s dive into some text details that will give your cover that extra little sparkle to intrigue your future readers.

PRINTING INFORMATION

This is all the information I will need, to make sure that your book comes from the printers as flawless as it should be.
(If you are only requesting an ebook, feel free to ignore this section)
Which printing company are you using? (Please add both the name as well as the URL to their website)
Each printer company has different requests. To make sure that no issues occur while printing, it is important for me to know who you work with. :)
Do you have your own ISBN? If so, please add it below or send it to me once you have it.

How many pages do you think your book will be?*
The number of pages is needed to determine how wide your spine will be. If you don’t know how many pages it will be exactly, an estimate will do. You can provide me with the exact number later. :)

This is needed to determine your spine width. Black & White is most common for fiction, while Colour is most common for picture and children’s books.
What kind of paper are you using?
Example: White 50, Creme, Groundwood, etc. (This is needed to determine later how thick your spine will be)
