JOB DESCRIPTION
GUEST SERVICE REP: Main point of contact for guests while they visit. Responsible for several aspects contributing to the success of day-to-day play space operations.
- Provide superior customer service, warmly greet guests, check them in, sell passes, memberships, answering the phone and routine questions about the facility.
- Prepare and organize structured activities for children including art, games, music, reading, movement etc. in coordination with our leadership team.
- Maintain a tidy and clean space, including the bathroom and kitchen areas.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality when handling member and guest information.
- Act as a lead birthday party host depending on scheduling.
- Handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
- Assist guests with special accommodations and in emergencies.
- Actively monitor bookings to maintain crowd control.
- Serve as an ambassador of Playology at all times making guests aware of the programming, special events, sales, and membership opportunities.
- Assist in collecting guest feedback including suggestions, compliments, and complaints; providing feedback to leadreship.
- Assist with activity planning and social media.
Requirements
- Experience working with children
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a professional work ethic
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised, as well as contribute within a team structure.
- Outgoing, positive, personality with an ability to appreciate and empathize with the feelings of others.
- Reliable transportation
- Execellent Cash handling skills
- Ability to arrive at work location for all scheduled shifts on time.
- Experience with social media posting.
- Adheres to all established policies and guidelines.
- Must have proof of COVID vaccination and Act 153 Clearances (PA Criminal Background History, PA Child Abuse History, and FBI Clearance).
