I understand that I must give specific consent for participation in horsemanship activities. I understand that it can be dangerous and I agree to have STR provide an equine safety helmet, and that I have read and understand the following Missouri Equestrian Liability Law:

Under Missouri law, an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to the Revised Statutes of Missouri (Missouri Revised Statutes, Section 537.325)

STR Liability Waiver

Strong Tower Ranch hereinafter referred to as STR requires the consent of any attendee or participant in any activity of or related to STR programs. I acknowledge that participation in any program or activity at Strong Tower Ranch involves risk and could involve rigorous physical and or emotional challenges as well as exposure to natural elements of weather, lake activities, insects and animals. STR takes reasonable precautions to ensure a safe camp experience. While unlikely, risks associated with participation in STR activities range from minor bruises and scrapes to severe and potentially paralyzing injuries, including death. I hereby assume all risk associated with these activities and the use of the facilities at STR, I agree to hold harmless and indemnify STR, its employees, staff and other volunteers and release and forever discharge them from all liability, causes of action, suits, damages, claims, or demands of any nature which may arise in connection with participation in any program or activity affiliated with STR.
