What Tournament Organiser package would you like?*
The basic package provides fixture generation, live results and league tables. The Standard Package includes features in the basic packagae and the player registration system. The Premium Package includes all of the above and the team entry system into the tournament

Ability Streaming

Tournaments can be in the traditional format where all teams regardless of ability are mixed together. Or, tournaments can be streamed by ability where teams will play against others of similar ability. If you're considering ability streaming, it's important to note that this approach relies on having enough participating teams to ensure the viability of the tournament. Additionally, it may require an increased number of pitches to ensure the efficient operation of the event.
Will your tournament be streamed by ability?*
Tournament Organiser has substantial experience with ability streaming in tournaments. We successfully managed the NPL Youth tournament, implementing ability streaming from 2015 to 2022. Additionally, we provided the system for the Eversley and California tournament, which employed ability streaming in 2022 and 2023.

Here's our recommendation on how it works:
1. When teams enter the tournament, they choose one of the following ability levels:
  - High Ability
  - Above Average
  - Below Average
  - Low Ability
2. These options encourage teams to make a decisive selection and avoid a neutral 'average' rating. Our entry form includes guidance that encourages managers to choose an ability level that accurately reflects their team, ensuring fair and appropriate competition.
3. The tournament for each age group is divided into two sections. For example
  - Yellow Section: For teams that rate themselves as High Ability or Above Average.
  - Blue Section: For teams that rate themselves as Below Average or Low Ability.
4. Teams compete exclusively within their designated section throughout the entire tournament.
  - For instance, in the Under 9 age group:
    
    Yellow Section: Teams play against others who rated themselves as High Ability or Above Average.
    
    Blue Section: Teams compete with those who rated themselves as Below Average or Low Ability."

If you do not have wifi available at the tournament, we recommend you use an internet dongle/mobile wifi in the control tent. This will enable the volunteers to enter the results onto the system. There are many internet dongles/mobile wifi on the market. Tournament Organiser have used Huawei dongles/mobile wifi with a Smarty unlimited data plan successfully in the past. As of September 2023, Huawei dongles retail at about £44 on Amazon and an unlimited data package from Smarty retails at £20 a month with free cancellation at anytime
Does the tournament venue have good 4G/5G signal?*
This is important as without it, teams and spectators will not be able to view the website where the results and league tables will be published. People can access the internet with just 3G coverage but it 4G/5G is preferred for stability
If your tournament venue does not have any signal for people to access the internet on their phones/tablets, you may need to deliver your tournament using manual "pen and paper" as the online system may not work. If you selected "No" for this question, Tournament Organiser will be in contact with you within 48 hours to discuss options
