Create an opportunity for a deserving student to participate in the Washington Leadership Training Institute in Washington, DC. This training allows members the opportunity to share their SkillsUSA and career and technical experiences with elected officials. WLTI activities include: Congressional visits, Tours of Washington D.C., including monuments, Laying of a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns, and Texas Tours. In April, students from across the state, who have competed at the district level, advance to the State Conference in Corpus Christi, TX. Support a student and their school by giving them a deserving opportunity to a top student to attend State Conference to showcase their skills with this scholarship. In June, students from across the state, who have competed at the state level, advance to the National Conference.
