MILK DEPOT – MILK EXPRESS INITIAL PARTNER CHECKLIST

Thank you for your interest in becoming a host location with The Milk Bank. We share a common goal to save infant lives through equitable access to human milk. In our recent strategic plan, more than 400 stakeholders shared having community-based depots and milk express sites is critical to supporting infant and maternal health. The average host site reports dedicating four (4) hours per month.

Please describe your current or anticipated foot traffic/community engagement. While each host site varies, The Milk Bank’s goal is to have at least one milk donor and/or one milk recipient each month.

Please describe what outreach efforts you will take to promote milk depot/milk express as resources in your community.

What is your desired/anticipated timeline for opening a host location? Typically, The Milk Bank requests that MOUs be signed within 30 days and strives to open locations to the public within 90 days of signing the MOU.
