Below are some of the ideas we've been considering for future classes & groups. Select as many as spark your interest! Note that names of classes are placeholders and likely to change.
Morning Movement: to get our butts out of bed gently
Bedtime Wind Down: to ease pain/our minds and relax for sleep
Functional Stretch & Strength: more exercise-y feeling class based off of principles and practices from dance conditioning, yoga, Pilates, physical therapy, myofacial self-massage, breathing techniques, etc.
Chair Flow: more dance-y exploration of movement while seated (great for those with balance, mobility, or pain issues that limit traditional dance classes)
Floor Flow: same idea as Chair Flow, but done on the floor/bed/yoga mat
Partner Stretch & Strength: a class that utilizes a partner to assist deeper stretching, higher resistance strength reps, and more fun! If you don't have a human partner willing and available, we can get creative with props like walls, chairs, broomsticks, resistance bands, etc.
Everything is Dance: an exploration of the history and culture of dance as an art form, means of personal expression, and teaching device. Think college-level seminar mixed with book club, but accessible and more fun!
Just Dance!: 10-15 minute mini-sessions to just jam out together with no judgement and all the support. Like dance flash mobs at random days & times, but for people to jump online, move to some music, journal, or just vibe with others.
A low-cost monthly subscription option at different tier levels offering unlimited access to all past class recordings (free during trial participation)
Movement Meditations/Prayers/Rituals groups to share a variety of cultural perspectives and deepen our own practices.
One-on-One Dance/Movement Coaching: for those who are unsure about group classes, or who want more in-depth accommodations, cheerleading, accountability, etc. to meet their bodies' needs where they are at. (free during trial participation)
