    Lunch and transportation

    Transportation (including transportation between terminals) and lunch will be at your own arrangement.

    NO free parking is provided at HACTL. 

    Free parking is provided at AAT and Cathay Cargo Terminal. (Limited and first-come first-served)

  • Members who would like to visit AAT please email the ID/ passport copy of each participant for applying the Terminal Restricted Area Visitor Permit before the registration deadline in order to complete the registration.

    Participant’s Consent

     

    An AAT Tenant Restricted Area (TRA) Permit is required for each terminal visitor and the permit fee for this terminal visit is waived for HAFFA members.  I understand that my company will be charged an administration fee HK$150 for each lost/damaged permit.

     

    I declare that the application information detailed in this form is true and I have read, understood the responsibilities of a permit holder. I understand that failure to comply with Conditions of Issue of TRA Permits, Directions of Use of AAT TRA Permits and the associated rules and regulations may result in withdrawal of my permit and may be liable to prosecution.

     

    I agree and consent that my personal data contained in this form shall only be used in connection with the application for AAT Tenant Restricted Area Permit to be issued by AAT and any subsequent regular security checks that are considered necessary by the Director-General of Civil Aviation. I also understand that my personal data may be submitted to the Commissioner of Police, Commissioner of Customs & Excise, Director of Immigration and Director-General of Civil Aviation and any other Government department as may be necessary for the above-mentioned purpose and any of my previous criminal convictions recorded against me may be released by the aforementioned law enforcement agencies to Director-General of Civil-General of Civil Aviation. Other than this, the data shall be held in strict confidence by AAT in accordance with Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap.486) and the codes of practice issued by Privacy Commissioner. I also understand that I have the right under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance to request access to or correction of the personal data, which I have provided and any of such requests should be addressed to Marketing Department, Asia Airfreight Terminal Co Ltd, 10 Chun Ping Road, Hong Kong International Airport, Lantau, Hong Kong.

     

    I am fully aware that if I fail to provide AAT with my personal data, my application will not be processed.

     

    I understand that I must be responsible for the actions and the behaviours of any holder of the aforesaid pass(es) within AAT TRA, and that any failure to comply with the Conditions of Issue and my statement listed above may result in withdrawal of the aforesaid pass(es).

     

    I and the persons applying to visit AAT shall not make any claim against AAT and shall indemnify it against any legal liability for claims or suits, including costs and expenses incidental thereto, in respect of:

    (a) injury or death of persons;

    (b) damage to or loss of property; and

    (c) any consequential loss or damage arising from an act or omission; as a result of or occurring during the group’s visit to AAT.

    Conditions of Issue of AAT Tenant Restricted Area (TRA) Permits

     

    1. The issue of Asia Airfreight Terminal Co., Ltd. (AAT) Tenant Restricted Area (TRA) Permit is governed by Aviation Security Regulation (Cap. 494) and subject to the conditions prescribed by AAT. Details of Condition of Issue of TRA Permits and Directions of Use of AAT TRA Permits and the associated procedures are contained in AAT TRA Security Programme and the relevant security notices issued by AAT.

    2. The full name of the applicant must be declared according to his / her Hong Kong Identity Card or travel document.

    3. Permit holders must not use the permit to gain access into the AAT TRA other than G/F & 1/F.

    4. Permit holders must provide the permit to the security staff for verification/checking purposes when he/she enters or leaves AAT TRA.

    5. Permit holders must display their permit in such a way that the permit can be clearly visible, while within AAT TRA.

    6. Permits holders must comply with the requirements of the Airport Authority by law, Aviation Security Ordinance and Aviation Security Regulation.

    7. Permit holders shall comply with all reasonable directions from the security guards performing access control or screening duties at an entry point or within the AAT TRA.

    8. Permit holders shall not lead or otherwise allow their permits to be used by any other person.

    9. Permit holders shall not deface, alter, tamper with or wilfully damage TRA permits.

    10. Permit holders shall take reasonable steps to prevent the loss of their permit.

    11. Permit holders shall immediately report the loss of his / her permit to AAT and the police.

    12. All permits issued are the property of AAT, which shall be returned to AAT prior to departure from the premises.

    13. Failure to comply with the above conditions may result in the cancellation or suspension of the permit

    14. The holder will be charged an administration fee HK$150 for each lost/damaged permit.

     

  • For Cathay Cargo Terminal Visit, participants will be requested by Cathay Cargo Terminal to sign the Permit Application Declaration Form on the date of visit. 

    Please refer to the following Personal information collection statement. Safety Guidelines for Visitors will be sent in confirmation email. 

    This Personal Information Collection Statement (“PICS”) applies to all employees of the Cathay Cargo Terminal (“the Company”), all temporary workers, consultants, independent contractors, customers, visitors and any other persons working for or in connection with the Company's business.


    To comply with safety and security requirements, personal data including, but not limited to, permit photo and fingerprints, will be collected from you.

    Purposes for which such personal data may be used will include the followings:

    • application of the Company’s Tenant Restricted Area (TRA) Permit and Airport Restricted Area (ARA) Permit;
    • access control in the Cathay Cargo Terminal including, but not limited to, the access of Tenant Restricted Area (TRA), Commercial Restricted Area (CRA) and other restricted areas;
    • verification of your identity for access into corresponding locations;
    • application of the access right of Cathay City;
    • fulfilment of the statutory and legal obligations of the Company, including compliance with any request from any governmental or regulatory authority or court order (whether in Hong Kong or other jurisdiction);
    • administration and preparation of training and development;
    • safety and security audits related to the government authorities or customer airlines whether locally or overseas;
    • disciplinary purposes arising from the conduct of personnel or their ability to perform services for the Company properly;
    • safety and security incident or accident investigation;
    • submission to Civil Aviation Department to coordinate the subsequent regular security vetting with other government departments;
    • legal proceedings (including prospective legal proceedings) and obtaining legal advice, whether locally or overseas;
    • establishing, exercising or defending legal rights, whether locally or overseas;
    • monitoring compliance with internal rules and policies of the Company;
    • compliance with applicable procedures, laws and regulations, whether locally or overseas; and
    • purposes directly relating thereto.

    It is obligatory that you provide any personal data requested from you, unless you are informed otherwise on or before collection by the Company. Failure to supply such data may result in the Company being unable to carry out its functions including, but not limited to, provision of benefits or otherwise the management of the Company’s affairs. The Company will take all practicable steps to ensure that personal data collected and held by the Company are protected against unauthorized or accidental access, processing, erasure or other use.


    The Company may nonetheless use or disclose data in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (as the same may be amended from time to time, hereinafter referred to as the “Ordinance”).


    If the data subject chooses not to provide the basic personal data (Name/ Identity Proof/ Mailing Address, etc.), the permit application would be rejected. If the data subject rejects to provide their fingerprint, the permit application may still be accepted but the ways to access restricted area may be limited.

    The Company may provide data to the following parties, whether in or outside Hong Kong, for the above mentioned purposes for which the data is to be used (or a directly related purpose):

    • appropriate and authorized persons within the Company;
    • ID Office of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited;
    • any relevant government or regulatory authorities, for example, Civil Aviation Department, Labour Department and Police Force;
    • any customer airlines;

    You have right to:

    • check whether the Company holds any data about you;
    • request access to such data;
    • request the Company to correct any data relating to you which is inaccurate; and
    • ascertain the Company’s policies and practices in relation to data and be informed of the types of personal data held by the Company.

    In accordance with the Ordinance, the Company has the right to charge a reasonable fee for the processing of any data access request. In determining a reasonable charge for handling such requests, the cost of actual time spent by administrator(s) / manager(s) who are involved in processing a particular data access request is the basic element of the fee charged. In addition, cost of copying per sheet paper will also be charged.


    All requests for access to data, or correction of data, or for information regarding policies and practices and types of data held, should be addressed to the Data Privacy Officer in the Company.   • After submitting this online registration form, we understood that :

    1. We shall receive a separate email with the details submitted by our company, which is regarded as the final submission. 

     

    2. We shall send the participant's copy of ID/ passport to the HAFFA Secretariat via email at training@haffa.com.hk before the registration deadline in order to complete the registration (For participants visiting AAT only).


    3. A confirmation email will be sent to the contact person around 1 week before the visit day by e-mail.
