• ASEAN-Japan Generation Z Business Leaders' Summit 2023

  • The ASEAN-Japan partnership places a strong focus on cultural exchanges and engagement, especially among the youth, to foster mutual understanding.

Given the importance of cooperation highlighted in the 23rd ASEAN-Japan Summit, the ASEAN Foundation is collaborating with METI and JETRO to organize the ASEAN-Japan Generation Z Business Leaders' Summit.

This programme aims to enhance the capacities of Generation Z leaders as advocates for closer ASEAN-Japan collaboration through a diverse set of activities, including lectures, panels, site visits, networking, and cross-cultural sharing, leading to a vision statement.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan Friendship, the ASEAN Foundation, along with JETRO and METI, is delighted to announce the Pre-event of the Generation Z Business Leaders' Summit in Jakarta, Indonesia.

This event, scheduled for 18 – 19 October, serves as a preparation for the upcoming Summit in Karuizawa, Japan, set for 14 – 15 December 2023. The Summit offers a platform for participants to enhance the relationship between ASEAN and Japan while addressing pertinent social issues.
