  • AFTERSCHOOL CARE

    Afterschool care will run from 3:15-5:30pm daily. Various activities will be provided throughout! Students will typically start with time to complete home learning and then transition into an activity like cooking, outdoor exploration or science. Free play usually ends the day. 

    Afterschool care is best for students in Milepost 1, 2 and 3. 

    After school care fees are $300 per month for every month school is open (rate accounts for school closures and holidays). 

     

    AFTERSCHOOL BUS SERVICE

    The school bus will run a drop-off service after school serving town and the bus stop(s) nearest to Chatmore. We are asking that you complete this form so that we can assess drop off points for students. 

    The bus service is for Milepost 2 students and up. A minimum number of students is required for the bus to run. If we do not reach the minimum of 4 students, we will explore other options for this service. 

    Poor or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated. If poor behaviour is observed, students will have their access to the bus suspended immediately until a resolution is found. 

    The bus service will be provided at a cost of $30 per week (or $6 per trip). 

    The numbers of weeks in each half term is outlined on your school calendar.

    If my child damages anything on the bus, I will be responsible for its replacement. 

    No refunds will be given if the bus or afterschool service is unable to run.

    If the bus service is unable to run (i.e. we cannot get your child to their destination), we will apply the missed days to another time.

    Though rare, if the after care programme is unable to run, we will consider credits only if closures have been regular (i.e. 3+ per month). We will typically have a substitute available or request a slightly earlier pick up if needed. 

    No refunds will be given for either service due to weather or unplanned school closures.
