D10 J.E.D.I. Award

The D10 JEDI Award recognizes agencies that demonstrate leadership and commitment to building communities where everyone can live full, dignified, and connected lives.

This award honors efforts that advance justice by removing barriers to access and opportunity, promote equity through fair and inclusive practices, embrace diversity by valuing the differences that strengthen communities, and foster inclusion by ensuring all voices are welcomed and represented.

Agencies may be recognized for innovative or impactful actions that apply J.E.D.I. principles in one or more of the following areas:

• Community programming and outreach
• Hiring practices and workforce development
• Staff training and professional growth
• Marketing, communication, and public engagement
• Departmental policies, partnerships, or other organizational initiatives

The D10 J.E.D.I. Award celebrates agencies that take intentional steps, large or small, to create equitable systems, amplify underrepresented voices, and cultivate spaces that reflect and respect the diversity of the communities they serve.

Eligibility

• Open to District 10 agencies.
• Submissions may highlight programs, initiatives, policies, or practices that were active within the past two (2) years.
• Entries may include efforts that are new, ongoing, or evolving, from early steps to established programs.
• Both internal initiatives (e.g., staff development, hiring, policy review) and external efforts (e.g., community partnerships, outreach, and inclusive events) are eligible.
