(The Temple College of Avalon reserves the right to amend these rules at any time.)
1. In order to successfully complete the training, all directed tasks must be completed on time. For unreasonable non-compliance with this condition, students may be asked to leave the course.
2. Students must attend at least 70 % of the live online seminars, and must take responsibility for the booking of their monthly private 30-minute session.
3. A course place is secured only on the acceptance of a completed application form, successful interview with the course tutor and receipt of full fee payment or your first instalment payment following acceptance.
4. Course fees are to be paid as directed below: Starting Date of Course: 21 September 2023. Cost £950. Payment can be made in full after acceptance onto the course or paid by 5 monthly instalments of £200. The Instalment option incurs an additional administration fee of £50 so the total course cost will be £1,000. Only when the payment has been received will material be sent. Failure to pay instalments will result in removal from the course. Any reminders for payments due will be charged for additionally. Payment methods are as advised on the course Payments Page and include Bank Transfer, Standing Order, Wise, Credit Card, Google Pay and PayPal.
5. Course fees are not refundable. We advise students to take out independent cancellation insurance to protect against loss in the event of illness, injury, jury service and other difficulties preventing the completion of a course.
6. By signing this agreement, you confirm that we may keep on file the details you have given us in your application for the training and any subsequent communications. We will keep your details for no more than seven years from your application. It’s also important that we are able to get in touch with you quickly prior to the training and throughout the life of the course, and you therefore also agree to us contacting you by email, regular mail, telephone or SMS. You must inform us of any change in contact details.
7. Students are responsible for their own well-being at all times and must inform the teacher of any matters affecting their health for the duration of the course.
8. Students may be advised to undertake external psychotherapeutic counselling to help them address any personal issues that may arise as a result of taking this transformative training in order that they can continue with the training.
9. The course tutor reserves the right to ask a student to leave the course in case of irreconcilable differences. All attempts will be made to find peaceable solutions to conflicts.
10. All students shall respect the other course participants and all tutors irrespective of race, colour, ability or gender and will endeavour to respect any values that may be different from their own.
11. Confidentiality provides privacy and safety within the group. Students must work within the guideline that all personal information about or shared by group members at any point during the training sessions or in the private Facebook Group is confidential.
12. Should difficulties arise with another member of the group, students will address the issue in the first place with the person concerned in a clearing conversation as per the Luminary Guidance by Dr Lynne Sedgemore. Should this course of action not be possible or resolve the issue, then the students must either speak to the Tutor, or the mediator of the Temple College of Avalon for mediation and resolution.
13. Should difficulties arise with the course tutor, the student must call upon the mediator of the Temple College of Avalon for mediation and resolution.
14. All training materials are copyright The Temple College of Avalon and must not be shared outside the training without written permission from the course tutor.
