Your urgent help is needed!
STOP THE SWAP! Make PG&E clean up toxins instead of building a new yacht harbor. Help us oppose the Rec & Park (RPD) plan to eliminate one of the most iconic views loved by tourists and residents alike.

What’s happening:
The City of San Francisco and PG&E negotiated a toxic waste clean-up settlement that doesn’t clean up 85% of the waste and ruins the iconic public view of the Marina Green.
The settlement was made without public outreach to stakeholders, and the current RPD renovation plan does not address the many serious problems caused by removing PUBLIC AND FREE view and recreation space and adding PRIVATE AND EXPENSIVE boat berths in its place.
WIN-WIN solutions that STOP THE SWAP is asking for:
1. REBUILD AND REMEDIATE THE EAST HARBOR! Make the Marina and Bay safer; make PGE clean up more of the toxins.
2. Conduct a new comprehensive Environmental Impact Review considering accelerating climate changes in our oceans and the bay.
3. Don’t swap an iconic view and tourist gem for a boat harbor that accommodates a handful of privileged boat owners.
4. Be innovative and consider alternative revenue source options other than limited revenue from a few boat owners.
Please help us STOP the Marina Redesign Project in its current form before it's too late!
