Certification Requirements

All requirements must be completed within the past year.

Requirements that Texas REALTORS® will verify:
- Serve a minimum of three years as a GRI or TACS Instructor.
- Must teach 12 days of GRI or TACS.
- Maintain an evaluation average of 4.5 or higher on all courses taught through Texas REALTORS®.
Supply a 10-minute video link of you instructing that best represents the content and teaching strategies Texas REALTORS® should expect from a Senior Instructor candidate.

Attach your resume that exemplifies your extensive experience in the industry, including (but not limited to):
1. Agent/broker experience
2. Volunteer service at the local, state, or National Association of REALTORS®
3. Involvement at TREC as a commissioner, committee, or workgroup member

By signing below, I understand that I will need to remit a $75 application fee to Texas REALTORS® and must be approved by the Professional Development Committee through an interview process before I am successfully identified as a Texas REALTORS® Senior Instructor. Once approved, I commit to upholding the standard of instruction that earned me the title and will supply feedback when requested regarding the Instructor Training Institute content in order to better support the quality of real estate education throughout Texas.*
