  • Volunteer Options

    There are 7 different Roles/Teams you can volunteer for and each section below has a brief description of what each Team is responsible for.

    Yes, you may work more than one shift. We need all the help we can get. So, please be sure to check the box for each shift you want to work.

    If you choose to volunteer for multiple shifts, we encourage you to try to stick with the same Team. This cuts down on training needs. However, you may be asked to help in  another area in order to balance areas of need.

    Teams include:

    2. General Duties Team

    3. Disabled Angler Boat Loading and/or Unloading Team

    4. Lunch/Water/Ice Distribution Team

    5. Boat Launch and/or Recovery Team

    6. Boat Ramp Assistant Team

    7. Weigh-In Team

  • Volunteer Coordinators Needed

    The LSPVA will need to identify a few volunteers to serve as Coordinators for each Team. The Coordinator will be the leader of a small team and will help direct the other volunteers on the team. If you are interested in serving, please indicate in the section below area you wish to volunteer.
  • Decorating Team for Registration & Partner Pairing Dinner

  • Decorating & Setup/Teardown Team for Awards Banquet

    Saturday, October 28 @ Denton Senior Center, 509 N. Bell Ave., Denton, TX 76209
  • General Volunteer Duties

    General Duties just means you are willing to fill in where ever needed.
  • Disabled Angler Boat Loading & Unloading Team

    This team is responsible for helping to load our disabled anglers into and out of the boat. This done in the parking lot. Note that you must be able to assist lifting anglers of various sizes. All loading & unloading is performed as partner lifts. We will require 6 to 8 volunteers each morning.
  • Lunch/Water/Ice Distribution Team

    This team is responsible for distributing water, ice, and lunch to each boat as it passes through the Boat Loading Line. We will require 6 volunteers each morning.
  • Boat Launch and Recovery Team

    These volunteers must be proficient and capable of driving a truck with attached boat trailer. Driver must be able to safely back a boat trailer down the boat ramp. We will require between 8 and 10 volunteers per shift.
  • Boat Ramp Assistant Team

    This team will be responsible for assisting drivers with directions for backing and releasing/securing boats on trailers. We will need 3 to 6 volunteers per shift.
  • Weigh-In Team

    This team will assist the Tournament Director with all things related to the weigh-in. This will include distributing weigh bags, collecting fish, releasing fish, and more. We need 4 to 6 volunteers on each day.
  • Bank Division Team

    This team will assist the Bank Anglers and the Tournament Director during the Bank Division Competition each day. Assistance may include assisting anglers with their various needs throughout the day and assisting the TD with recording catches and weights. We need 4 to 6 volunteers on each day.
  • Should be Empty:
