Sumitting this application does not mean you are commiting to a dog, nor does it guarantee you will get that dog. It is simply a tool we use to help both you and us identify a good potential match for your family and lifestyle.

We do require a virtual home check to ensure dog is placed in safe environment, please a take a small video tour of your home including yard if you have one . Personal space , such as bedroom is not required.

Foster is to hold said animal until placed in home or minimum 3 months or agreed upon date .

If foster decides they want to adopt they must notify rescue before any other arrangements are made .

Rescue acknowledges that upon acceptance by both parties, this is a binding contract, enforceable by civil law.

Rescue hereby delivers to and deposits with the Caregiver said animal.

Any care animal will receive must be ok by the rescue first.

Rescue will supply food and basic items and general vet care if needed. any specialty care will first have to be fundraised for.

Rescue will supply crate if needed but must be returned after dog is in home.

Foster agrees to follow rules of decompression.

foster will not introduce to other dogs until dog has decompressed , if decompression is not followed foster will be responsible for any costs that may occur because of negligence.

foster must give rescue time to make alternate plan if for any reason , no longer able to foster .

foster agrees to give dog time to adjust to new environment.

foster will take dog to adoption events

foster will report to rescue with updates and pictures and videos weekly .

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless GWLD and its officers, employees, and volunteers, from any and all claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to my participation in the fostering program, including but not limited to injuries to myself, my property, or others, and any costs associated with defending against such claims

Foster agrees to notify rescue of any change of address or phone number immediately.Foster agrees to care for said animal for the duration of time set forth by the Custodian.Foster agrees not to sell, trade or dispose of said animal unless there is an adoption interest but must be approved first.Foster agrees that said animal will not be sold or given to a pet store, supplier or wholesaler or taken back to shelter .If at any time the foster is unable or unwilling to care for said animal, foster must immediately notify the rescue & allow time for the rescue to reclaim said animal.Foster agrees to adhere to all state and local animal laws and agrees that said animal will not be used for any illegal purposes.Foster agrees that said animal will NEVER be fought in any way.Foster agrees to care for said animal humanely (including providing adequate food, water, shelter, and attention).Foster agrees that said animal shall be maintained in an adequate enclosed area or on leash at all times. Animal shall not be allowed to roam at will.Foster agrees to notify the rescue immediately if said dog becomes lost or stolen.Foster must report periodically as to the well being of said animal and provide pictures to rescue.Foster understands the above terms & conditions and understands a breech of contract may result in confiscation of said animal.Foster acknowledges that upon acceptance by both parties, this is a binding contract, enforceable by civil law.
