Forest school sessions give children aged between 4 and 8 years the freedom to be children. Playing in the woodland whilst taught how to respect and build a connection to nature. These sessions are risk taking, building resilience, confidence and knowlege through self directed activities.
The sessions are led by experienced and qualified practitioners who will bring lots of ideas to go with the children’s own for playing, learning and creating using nature as a resource.
We are running 1 day over the Oct Holidays Tuesday 29th October 2024
10am - 3pm.
Your children MUST be over 4 years old to attend these sessions.
Weather appropriate clothing is essential and is the responsibility of the parent/carer, waterproofs are essential in wet weather. Appropriate footwear is the responsibility of parents/carers, this must be boots or trainers (closed toe). Clothing must cover arms and legs (due to scratches & insect bites).
Piriton may be administered to a child if they are stung/bitten at Forest School & reacting.
We ask all children who will be attending to provide a packed lunch.
Please ensure this is healthy and DOES NOT contain fizzy drinks or nuts.
All children are to bring a labelled water bottle.
