    The AFP DC Advanced Executives program is geared toward fundraisers with 10 or more years in the profession and the sessions are not designed to be “how-to’s”. This program track is targeted for "decision makers" in an organization including CEOs, Chief Development Officers, and others with responsibility for Planned Giving, Capital Campaigns, Major Gifts, Annual Giving, Foundation/Corporate Relations, Communications, consultants and board chairs. The types of discussions/topics of interest for this program include:

    • Policy/philosophy/ethics/emerging trends
    • The shape of/issues surrounding philanthropy and donor/funder behavior
    • Changes in AFP + future of our profession/association
    • Fundraisers as Leaders – transitioning in organizational development
    • Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility in nonprofit management
