    The winners will be announced at AACC 14th Annual Awards Gala - The Golden Horizon on Saturday, September 19, 2026 Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport.

    Each award recipient and his/her (1) guest will receive complimentary tickets and are required to be present. Any questions regarding the nomination process may be submitted to info@asianamericanchambercfl.org.

    Nomination Deadline: Friday, September 4, 2026:

    • Golden Horizon Awards Categories: 
      1. Asian Entrepreneur of the Year
        Honoring an individual or company that has launched or grown a business within the past 1–2 years in Central Florida, demonstrating innovation, resilience, and leadership. Their entrepreneurial journey serves as an inspiring model for the next generation of Asian entrepreneurs.

      2. Fastest Growing Company Award
        Presented to an established company that has shown exceptional growth over the past 1–2 years—through expansion, job creation, and meaningful contributions to the community—while embodying the spirit of progress and opportunity.

      3. Community Impact Award
        Recognizing an individual or organization that has played a pivotal role in driving new initiatives or strengthening collaborations with chambers, associations, and community partners—making a lasting impact across Central Florida.

      4. Golden Horizon Leadership Award
        Celebrating a visionary individual, entrepreneur, or business that embodies the spirit of the "Golden Horizon"—leading with foresight, courage, and innovation. This honoree is shaping a brighter future through transformative leadership, inspiring others, and driving meaningful progress across our diverse community.

      5. Emerging Young Leader Award
        Recognizing an exceptional young professional or student who demonstrates outstanding leadership, initiative, and a passion for making a difference. This individual shows great promise as a future changemaker—actively contributing to their community, inspiring their peers, and embodying the spirit of growth and potential that defines our Golden Horizon.

      6. AACC Community Give-Back Nomination
        As part of our commitment to giving back, the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida will be donating $1,000 to a nonprofit foundation or organization that is making a meaningful impact in the community.

        We invite attendees to nominate a foundation or nonprofit of their choice—including their own—for consideration. The selected organization will be announced during the Gala as a gesture of unity and shared purpose in supporting the diverse communities we serve.

        Nominations will be reviewed based on community impact, alignment with AACC’s mission, and the story behind the organization’s work.

      7. AACC President’s Award
        Selected by the AACC President, this award will be presented to an outstanding AACC Board Member, Advisor, Committee Leader, or Past Chair who has gone above and beyond in their service and dedication to the Chamber. This award recognizes exceptional leadership, impactful contributions, and a strong commitment to AACC’s mission. The recipient exemplifies integrity, initiative, and collaboration—including outstanding achievement in helping the Chamber reach or exceed its highest membership goals—leaving a lasting impact on the organization and the community it serves.
    • Nomination Rules: 
      1. You and the proposed Award Recipient do not have to be members of the Chamber, but should be of good moral and ethical character. You and the proposed Recipient should also be residents of or have substantial contact with Central Florida.
      2. You may submit up to one (1) nomination for each award category. Therefore, you may submit up to six (6) nominations (one nomination for each of the six award categories).
      3. You may submit the same nominee's name (individual, business, agency, or non-business entity) in several different categories.
      4. All nominations must include your name and contact information should our Selection Committee have any questions. Anonymous or illegible submissions will be rejected.
      5. Describe, in as much detail as possible, why you believe the candidate should be granted the award. You may wish to cite specific examples, such as projects, dates, significant accomplishments, and impact on the community. You may also submit news articles, press releases, literature, website links, and photos, if any, in support.
      6. Current Officers and Directors serving on the AACC Board of Directors, and their immediate family members, are not eligible.
      7. Prior Award Recipients for the last four (4) years are also not eligible and such as education, work history, and dates of established business/residency in Central Florida.
      8. Award finalists, recipients and guests, by appearing at the Golden Horizon Awards (a public forum), give consent to use their names and photos obtained at the Awards Ceremony for AACC publicity purposes.
      9. Asian Entrepreneur of the Year nominees also must meet the following criteria and provide supplemental information (1 - 6):
        1. Nominee must be of Asian heritage.
        2. Nominees must have a minimum 51% ownership in his/her company and employ a minimum workforce of five.
        3. Nominee must list a demonstrable record success of business success dating back to at least 2020 (five years). The record of success includes, but is not limited to, a listing of major accomplishments in business, economic development, procurement, supplier diversity, employee growth and/or access to capital
        4. Nominations must include a resume or biography providing background such as education, work history, and dates of established business/residency in Central Florida.
        5. Nominee must demonstrate leadership capabilities and community service.
        6. Nominees I nominations are encouraged to include letters of endorsement, prior awards, etc. limited to five (5) pages of materials.
