The following are terms and conditions that Majiidah Training Centre has set regarding 1-to-1 classes:
1) For 1-to-1 classes, fees must be paid in full when registering. This includes:
a. registration fee
b. material fee
c. lesson fee
2) The fees, as stipulated in (1), must be submitted before commencement of lessons.
3) Subsequent payments of monthly lesson fees must be made within the first week of each month.
4) Monthly lesson fees are calculated based on the number of weeks in the month.
e.g., 4 weeks = 4 sessions
5 weeks = 5 sessions
5) Fees will not be refunded if a student:
a. is absent from class
b. withdraws before commencement of lessons
c. withdraws before completion of course
Overseas travel, whether for leisure, work or worship (e.g., hajj and umrah) is deemed as absence on the student’s part, and fees will not be refunded in these cases.
6) Mode of payment:
Payments are to be made either by (1) cash, (2) PayNow or (3) bank transfer only. Students are encouraged to use PayNow.

7) Students must note the dates of Public Holidays and MTC’s official holidays.
There will be no classes on these dates.
8) Classes cancelled by the teacher may not be rescheduled.
9) If the teacher is absent, and the monthly lesson fee has been paid in full at the beginning of the month, the subsequent month’s fee will be reduced based on the number of sessions cancelled by the teacher.
10) If technical difficulties arise in conducting a lesson on the teacher’s part, the fee for that lesson will be brought forward to the subsequent month. Technical difficulties on the student’s part, he/she will be charged the fee for that lesson.
11) MTC Learning Journey Trip:
MTC supports the yearly-held Majlis Tilawah & Tahfiz Al-Quran (MTTQ) in Singapore organised by MUIS. The MTTQ has successfully fostered the next generation of Qari/Qariah, some of whom are now full-time teachers at MTC. Therefore MTC will be organising learning trips to the MTTQ yearly that students must attend and whose attendance thereto is equivalent to one class session.
2) Istiqamah (Consistency): Maintaining regular attendance is of utmost importance when studying the Quran.
Students must manage their time wisely, be willing to sacrifice in their pursuit of knowledge and avoid, as much as possible, asking to be excused from lessons for reasons such as attending weddings, gatherings, etc.
Students may not change their allocated time slot after registration without MTC’s approval.
3) If the number of students in a group class falls to 2 or 1, lesson time will be reduced from 1.5 hours to 1 hour.
4) Attire: Students must wear modest clothing that covers the aurat. Male students are encouraged to wear songkok/kopiah. Female students must wear loose-fitting jubah/baju kurung. MTC maintains the right to admonish students for improper attire.
5) Discipline:
a. Do not vandalise or tamper with MTC property
b. Do not eat and drink in class
c. Do not use mobile phones in class
d. Use the bathroom before lesson begins
e. Respect teachers and practice good etiquette in class
6) Students must bring their own pencil, eraser, notebook, books provided by MTC and doa sheet given by MTC.
7) Students must abide by these terms and conditions and any changes or additions thereof.
