AMS 2023 Ursula Thrush Peace Seed Grant Application
The American Montessori Society Peace & Social Justice Committee awards annual Peace Seed Grants to help fund projects that promote peace education. The grants are presented in memory of educator Ursula Thrush, whose dedication to the concept of peace through children inspired many educators to advance peace and social justice studies in their classrooms and communities. Grants range between $100 and $1,000.
Requirements
All grant recipients will be required to submit a report, including pictures, for potential sharing with the greater AMS community. Report/presentation of completed projects due by May 1, 2025. If the project is not completed by the deadline, funds must be returned to AMS. Application submission Deadline: Friday, November 17, 2023, 11:59 PM (ET)
