Pathways is happy to offer the Opportunity Fund, which aims to provide direct financial assistance to support Compass families and Your Path clients with emergency expenses. This funding can be used for things that are not usually funded by other social safety net programs (i.e., food stamps, childcare vouchers, section 8, etc.). It exists to remove barriers to household stability and financial well-being.
This is a personal grant program - no repayment will be made.
Many things will be taken into consideration when determining funding, including but not limited to: category of request, level of need, urgency, and hardship/barrier created if the need goes unmet.
This is not a guaranteed source of income to regularly rely on; however, we encourage those who need it to apply when a lack of availability of personal funding to meet that need will impact their health, safety, or financial stability.
Payment is provided via direct payment. Pathways makes payments to the company/agency/official entity only. We cannot make payments to individuals under any circumstance.
Applications will be reviewed on a recurring basis. All applications are subjected to a blind review by a committee that will not have access to the name or personal information of the applicant. This process ensures confidentiality and equity.
